For 75 years, the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce has supported and celebrated the strength of our local business community. This year’s Walk of Fame is especially meaningful as we commemorate our Diamond Anniversary.

The Walk of Fame & Diamond Celebration is an evening dedicated to honoring the remarkable individuals and businesses that help shape and strengthen Hancock County. Guests will enjoy dinner, entertainment, and an inspiring awards presentation as we recognize excellence across our community.

​The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Awards Program celebrates individuals and businesses that exemplify excellence, leadership, and meaningful contribution within our community. Nominees should demonstrate exceptional commitment and achievement that go beyond the expectations of their everyday responsibilities.

Please note: Previous award recipients and current members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors are not eligible for consideration.

Nominee Qualifications

Strong candidates will demonstrate measurable success and distinction in one or more of the following areas:

• Innovation – Advancing growth through new ideas, technology, creative strategies, or competitive positioning.
• Resilience in the Face of Adversity – Successfully navigating economic challenges, industry shifts, or operational obstacles while continuing to grow and strengthen the organization.
• Community Engagement – Active involvement in volunteerism, service initiatives, and efforts that raise awareness or improve quality of life in Hancock County.
• Organizational Culture – Fostering a positive workplace through employee support, benefits, professional development, and an environment that values people.
• Community & Business Impact – Demonstrating strong leadership, sound management practices, and a lasting positive influence on the local business community.

Nomination & Selection Process

In the weeks leading up to the event, nominations will be accepted for each award category. The Chamber’s Executive Board will review all submissions and select three finalists per category. Each finalist will be recognized at the awards dinner, and the recipient will be announced live during the celebration.

We encourage the community to take part in this special tradition by nominating deserving individuals and businesses. Organizations and individuals are welcome to submit nominations on behalf of others — or themselves.

Nomination Guidelines

• Nominees must either reside in Hancock County or be employed within Hancock County. Please refer to the official nomination form for full award criteria.
• Self-nominations are permitted.
• Multiple nominations may be submitted within a category.
• All nomination materials must be received by the Chamber office no later than May 8, 2026.
• Nominations may be submitted online using the links provided or by mailing a completed form to:

• Mailed submissions must be received (not postmarked) by May 8, 2026.

Additional Information

• Award recipients are not eligible to receive the same award again for three years.
• If a nominee is unable to attend, a representative may accept the award on their behalf.
• Each nominee will receive two complimentary event tickets (one for the nominee and one guest).
• Chamber membership is not required to be nominated or selected.
